Fiestas
Tejon Ranch’s Equestrian Center hosts a number of events every year, including several "Fiestas." Fiestas celebrate and showcase the vaquero tradition of horsemanship as cowboys from all over the west come and test their skills in the same way the vaqueros of yesteryear did. The goal is good fun, good food, and good camaraderie.
The Spanish tradition is carried on and lived out in this modern day old style contest that requires the use of the same equipment as the vaqueros of old California.
